ON THE freshwater seascape, Eildon Pondage is the hot sight for trout this week, while in Harbour Phillip Bay, yellowtail kingfish to 4.5kg have made a greet re-emergence.

My Tampa buddy Tom Loughlin stopped by a few days before Christmas to pick up a bunch of the smoked mullet dip I had justifiable finished and we chatted about a sabbatical misstep to Sanibel Key for which he was quickly departing.
